We keep it simple. Our brief walks you through each item:
- Yard dimensions: overall width and depth, and distances from the house and property lines
- Slopes and grade: where the yard rises or falls, and any steps or walls
- Photos from each corner of the yard, plus the house wall that faces it
- A slow video walkthrough of the whole space
- Existing features: trees, patios, gates, utilities and equipment locations
- Access: how equipment could reach the backyard
- Sun and views: where the afternoon sun hits and what you want to see
- Plot plan or survey, if you have one (helpful, not required)

Which states do you work in?
Design is delivered digitally, so we work with homeowners anywhere in the United States. Your local licensed builder handles permits, engineering and construction where you live.
What if my measurements are not perfect?
That's okay. Rough measurements and good photos are enough to design from, and your builder confirms exact dimensions on site before construction.
How do I send large videos?
Share a Google Drive, Dropbox or iCloud link in the form, or email [email protected] after you submit.
